Our Prairie Tale masquerade fundraiser was a fantabulous success! Thank you to all who came out and help us raise $3,520!  All profits go directly to bringing more smiles to our Gary Effect victims of random acts of kindness!

Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing our entertainment, food and prizes were this year!  So here’s some shout outs to those that helped us make it amazing!

First, like to  thank Sonix Bar and Grill who hosted our event… please pop by 423 McMillan and give them your support. They’re amazing people!  While you’re there, play some pool, have some drinkies… it’s a great venue!

Our entertainment was fantabulous! A special thank you to Dahlia Kurtz who was the emcee for our event!  Our performers, Kevla (Belly dancing), Kane Greene (beat boxing), Dave Greene (Elvis) and Maribeth Tabanera (dancer) did an amazing job! Winnipeg has some amazing talent! ( Be sure to check out Kane and Dave’s CBC’s documentary ‘Being Greene’… to find out more about about this strong, courageous amazing family).  Our Dj’s who kept the music going all night long:  Jerm the Worm, Sheen Sayer and Coliwog.

A special thank you to Michelle McCann, Candace Heywood, Kaila Lizon and Brian Chrupalo who worked tirelessly pounding pavement finding so many sponsors for our amazing silent auction!  (for a full list of our sponsors please check out the ‘Gary’s friends’ page  – all these businesses deserve your support, because they believe in our community!)

And last, but not least… We would like to thank everyone who came out to support us!  And those who couldn’t make it and still supported us, thank you!  You make us who we are and we couldn’t do it without you!
